Common Questions

About Boardside
Hi, I'm Jamille! I'm the founder of Boardside and a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) with hands-on experience managing the day-to-day operations of a homeowners association. Before working in community association management, I spent eight years running my own business. That experience taught me how to wear a lot of different hats, solve problems as they come up, and keep things moving even when there are a dozen priorities competing for attention. It also shaped the way I approach HOA operations today. While an HOA is a nonprofit, it still manages real money, vendors, contracts, projects, and responsibilities on behalf of its homeowners. I believe those responsibilities deserve the same organization, accountability, and attention to detail you would expect from any well-run business. I started Boardside because I know how much work goes into running a community, especially when that responsibility falls on volunteer board members. My goal is simple: to make your job easier. Whether it's bookkeeping, administrative tasks, homeowner communication, compliance, or coordinating projects, I'm here to help take some of that work off your plate. Think of me as an extra set of hands for your HOA.
